The brake device on this lever hoist is a brake disc with a clutch spring. When the weight exceeds 30kg, the brake disc engages immediately. If the weight is below 30kg, the clutch spring must be adjusted to engage the brake disc.
This will happen automatically and usually within 2 seconds.
